Lilith! Better late than never.

Seasons greetings to all of you!

I hope you're all keeping safe and well. I cant believe how fast Christmas has come around again and how little my online activity has been this year. Feels nice to make a little blog post and tell you some news.

I am very happy to announce I finally finished my Lilith painting and prints are available in my online store. Get here here!

This painting was truly a labour of love and in all honestly I think I came close to insanity trying to please myself and capture this elusive essence of her I had in mind.

After a gruelling vortex of utter frustration and reworks, she finally came together in a form I can accept and release, much later than I envisioned...

I love returning to paintings with fresh energy at a later date, but the last few paintings brought so many challenges and unexpected twists. Its been a great learning experience and on a positive note, I can say that the reworks were great practice. I have discovered a lot of new techniques and methods I will utilise in future pieces, as well as what to avoid in my creative process!

Creating art is a ongoing learning experience and thats what keeps it fun and exciting, despite how frustrating it can be at times. I'm more fired up than ever to get my teeth into all the new fun stuff I have planned for 2022.

Lilith was painted on mounting board with Acrylic paint and inks. The original painting is 30 x 20 inches. I thought it would be nice to offer a LTD edition version of Lilith in this size as well as my usual A2 16.5 x 23.4 print size. The Larger LTD edition version of the painting is numbered to 250. The standard A2 version of the print is open edition.

I am excited to put together and release the epic process video of this painting, you'll will get a glorious insight into my journey, the torment of creating this piece and hopefully learn a lot of tips and tricks!

Hope you're all set for an amazing Christmas. You will be seeing a lot more of me and my art in 2022. Thank you all for sticking around and your amazing support.

Much love,

Chris
